- 01/08/2011-20/12/2016: PhD in History, University of Hamburg; Supervisor: Ulrich Mücke; DFG Research Group: “Actors of Globalization, 1860 – 1930”, led by Sebastian Conrad and Andreas Eckert at FU Berlin El Mundo al Revés – A Local Perspective on the Global Entanglement of Urban Labor, Mexico City 1910 – 1929. Brief Synopsis: El Mundo al Revés examines the global entanglement of the labor movement in revolutionary Mexico City. The study deals with the reception, interpretation, and utilization of global influences and caesuras by local actors and with the processes of cultural transformation and identity construction in the Mexican movement.
